CO-COUNSEL AND REFERRAL FEES

The Dummit Law Firm can help you generate a source of income with no overhead. We will split fees with lawyers in accordance with The Rules of Professional Conduct of the North Carolina State Bar. The Rules prohibit fees being shared with non-lawyers.

The Rules also allow us to co-counsel a case with other lawyers and pay appropriate referral fees to those lawyers. The client's prior consent is required. We will work with you every step of the way to ensure a fair, full and complete understanding and outcome is achieved.

We regularly seek out qualified lawyers in other states for our out-of-North Carolina cases. Local lawyers on our out-of-state cases provide our clients with expertise of the local environment, local contacts and reduced travel costs.
