Our Firm was founded over three decades ago by Clarke Dummit, a Criminal Defense Attorney practicing in and around the Winston-Salem, Forsyth County area. Clarke wanted to create a place he was excited to go every day, with people he enjoyed being around. He didn’t want an adversarial environment where you couldn’t rely on the attorney in the next office or you had to sacrifice your personal life to succeed. He believed in teamwork and work-life balance. He also believed in hard work, dedication, owning up to and fixing mistakes, and striving to achieve, learn, and grow.
To that end, he built this Firm, first adding his Partner, Michael Fradin – an extremely well-regarded Criminal Defense Attorney in his own right, and a highly rated DWI Attorney – his skills both in and out of the courtroom impressed Clarke. They complemented each other well, one affable, one more formal, one dealing more with the money, and one dealing more with the staff, yet each brought unique and effective strategies to the Firm.
